Description

This one-day course will focus on orthotic management of specific conditions of the forearm, wrist and fingers including distal radial ulnar (DRUJ) instability, extensor carpi ulnaris (ECU) instability, limited wrist ROM, and ligamentous tightness or laxity. The format of this course will include interactive discussions regarding appropriate anatomy, pathophysiology, orthotic application, and clinical reasoning in support of orthotic design. This course is geared toward intermediate level learners; however,  participants of all levels are welcome and will be supported as needed. All materials required for fabrication are included in the cost and will be provided at the course. The host will provide lunch during a one-hour break provided at noon.
