Orthotic fabrication for the fingers and thumb has never been so easy!! Have you ever wanted to learn how to create fast, easy orthoses without the need of a big splint pan (and that your patients will love!)? This four hour hands-on splinting workshop features the use of Orficast to create 8 different orthoses for the thumb and fingers, which will be demonstrated and then participants will have the opportunity to fabricate from the comfort of their own homes! The virtual workshop format includes a PowerPoint presentation followed by demonstration and hands-on fabrication time. Attendees will earn 4 contact hours/0.4 AOTA CEUs for attending after submitting a photo of their completed orthoses to the instructor. Participants are responsible for acquiring their own materials in advance of the course (please see the Requirements tab for more details). This workshop is appropriate for OT’s, COTA’s, PT’s, PTA’s and CHT’s working with an upper extremity patient caseload and looking to enhance their orthotic fabrication skills. For any therapists working in Home Health – this will be a game changer for you!!

In the event of cancellation, Right Hand Therapy will offer a full refund within two weeks of notice of cancellation. Participants must also notify Right Hand Therapy regarding cancellation of registration no less than 10 days prior to the workshop for a full refund less $15.00 administrative fees.
