Host one of our dynamic half, one or two-day courses from the comfort of your own facility. Our instructors are experts in the field of hand therapy and would love to share their knowledge with your staff! Host sites will have the opportunity to customize courses based on their own needs and interests, and we offer a variety of topics to chose from.
Course cost depends on several factors including the type of course, equipment/supplies needed, and duration requested (half vs full day etc). Depending on your location, host sites may also be responsible for covering the cost of instructor travel and lodging. What does RHT provide?
RHT will handle all of the course logistics. This includes:
Coordinating with the instructor and host site regarding preferred date/time/location
Providing course manuals and materials
Organizing equipment needs
Providing CE certificates

What is the host site responsible for?
The host site takes care of making sure the venue is comfortable and adequate for the number of attendees. This includes:
Ensuring adequate lighting and electrical supply for the event
Setup and breakdown of the room (classroom style seating, front table and/or podium for the instructor, setting up equipment)
Providing and setting up the AV equipment (projector and screen)
if no AV equipment is available, RHT will make arrangements to bring equipment or have them shipped (host site covers any shipping fees).
Providing any food/beverage for the course (optional)
Are courses open to the public or can I host a course privately? What is the minimum/maximum number of attendees?
Courses may be arranged for private groups or open to other therapists in the community. We are flexible and offer two basic options for hosting:
Open registration: The host site agrees to provide a minimum of 8 – 10 registrations (depending on your location), but attendees pay for the course themselves. If there are less than the required number of registrations received by the time of the event, the host site agrees to cover the cost of any remaining registrations up to that number or the course may be cancelled. Registration may be open to other therapists in the community (optional) or the event may be held privately. For every 10 paid registrations the host site earns 1 free seat in the course.
Closed registration: Sites may choose to host a course for a set fee. With this option there is no minimum number of attendees and material costs are included in the fee. Please contact us for more details.
What days are the courses available for travel?
We are flexible and work with the host site/instructor to determine a mutually convenient date. Courses are available weekdays and weekends (including Sundays!) and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Is food/beverage provided?
RHT is not responsible for providing any food or beverages for the course. The host site is welcome to provide food/beverages at their own expense.
We would like to host a course ASAP. How soon can we book a travel course?
Depending on the logistics of setting up a course we recommend allowing at least 1-2 months lead time. We simply need to coordinate a date with the instructor, organize method of travel, establish any equipment needs, have time to print manuals and obtain necessary materials.
