06 Apr Going to Philly for 3-Day Tutorial at the Hand Rehabilitation Foundation
T-4 days until I leave for Philadelphia to attend a 3-day tutorial at the Hand Rehabilitation Foundation!! Ahhhh!!!! I can’t wait! My schedule is as follows:
Day 1: I will be in surgery observing Dr. John M. Bednar
Day 2: I will be shadowing Dr. A. Lee Osterman during office hours
Day 3: I will be in the therapy clinic working and learning with the therapists
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Dr. A. Lee Osterman is the President and Terri Skirven, OTR/L, CHT is the Director of Rehab at the Philadelphia and South Jersey Hand Centers – they also helped author Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity, a book I refer to as the “hand bible“. I might be a little star struck when I’m there – this book helped me pass the CHT exam!
