09 Nov Amazing 2-day splint course!
Last weekend we hosted an amazing 2-day splint course with Debby Schwartz from Orfit Industries! It was a huge success and we had a lot of fun fabricating a variety of static and dynamic orthoses. We love using Orfit products because the materials are lightweight, easy to use, and very forgiving! Many of the orthoses can be fabricated from just a square piece of material – no splint pattern necessary! Some of our favorite orthoses were the dorsal elbow approach with/without the hand included, the dynamic finger extension orthosis, and the 2 new short opponens designs using Orficast.
